Insane title

I was lull for some days but tat doesn't mean the carnage carried on 26/11 has been forgotten. Its been etched in my heart forever and i believe, same is the case with every other true Indian unless he has the instincts of a renegade.
I start up my day reading the headlines- "Sachin's ton applies balm on Mumbai's wounds" -
http://ibnlive.in.com/news/sachins-ton-applies-balm-on-mumbais-wounds/80613-5.html . How ridiculous and imbecile can the media get? If u remember, this was the same channel which aired the 62 hr bloody mayhem and was appealing the people to act vociferously against the heinous attack. I have absolutely no grudge against this channel infact this is one of my fav channels, but you definitely need to look before you leap . Even if you are writing the article half asleep, how can u commmit such a foolish mistake or even get such a gross name for your article.
Sachin hitting a ton, wots great in it? Gimme a chance to play for India, gimme money and allow me to play atleast 300 matches, i ll surely get a dozen tons :) . In short, tats his bread and butter, and he has to hit a ton if he has to survive ...No big deal in it. Comparing his ton with the 26/11 masacre, is just atrocious.
Gimme a chance and i ll prove how pen is mightier than the sword!! ;)

In India, the masses worship the game. And the media obviously tries to glorify it further only adding shame to the countrymen who died in the massacre.

I remember, during Operation Vijay of Kargil, there was also a world cup or something like that going on (forgive my ignorance about cricket, but i totally hate the game for my reasons :D) and the media covered the game in and out, whereas there was a small snippet in the corner on 'winning' the kargil war.
